Historical Event on 11/1/1956
Indian Government re-organizes the states according to linguistic principles and inaugurates second Five-Year Plan. The states declared were Madhya Pradesh, Punjab by merging Patiala & PEPSU, Mumbai was divided in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Karnataka. Union Territories namely Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshdeep Minikai and Amin Divi were approved.

11/15/1991	Insurance official Dr. S.L. Khosa freed in Kashmir in exchange for a militant.
8/4/1935	Government of India got the Royal Assent Act 1935.
7/21/1935	Establishment 'Mumabi Marathi Sahitya Sangh'.
3/13/1800	Nana Phadanvis (Balaji Janardan Bhanu), veteran leader of Peshwa Kingdom, died.
