Arjun Janya (born Lokesh Kumar) is an Indian film score soundtrack composer and singer. As a music composer, Janya`s first release was the film Autograph Please. The movie received a lukewarm opening, thus, not doing much to elevate his career. He then went on to direct the music of many films, but only got a little success. In 2009, however, the tables turned and he got associated with Chetan Kumar starring Birugaali. The music of the film became a huge hit, with Janya bagging the South Scope Award for Best Music Director. But what actually brought him to the notice of both the cine-goers and film fraternity were the tracks of Sudeep and Ragini Dwivedi starring blockbuster film Kempe Gowda.
