In this day and age life is getting hectic and people are not getting required 7-8 hours of sleep. For some people lack of sleep is a necessity because of their work load and for others it is just lifestyle such as late night parties, internet surfing, etc.
Whatever the reason for not getting proper sleep, this lack of sleep does take a toll on people. Our body needs a proper sleep of 7-8 hour to recover from the daily grind.
Many of the negative effects of going to bed late are not immediately evident but be careful because: People who go to bed late & wake up late consume lot more calories than others. Lack of sleep can cause heart attack. Lack of sleep disrupts the production of melatonin which in turn causes aging. Lack of sleep also affects the ability to focus and cause the brain to function slower
So be careful and don't make a habit of going to bed late and getting up late.
