Indian ActressMouni Roy (Born 28 September 1985) is an Indian actress, singer, Kathak dancer and model, who primarily works in Hindi films and television. She debuted into television in 2007 with the role of Krishna Tulsi in the soap opera Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus.
Mouni Roy is an actress, known for Naagin (2015), GOLD (2018) and K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018). She made her first film debut with a Punjabi movie named Hero Hitler in Love. She made her first Bollywood debut with movie named Gold directed by Reema Kagti in the role of Monobina Das. Because of her excellent performance, she got role in many movies such as Tum Bin II, K.G.F: Chapter 1, Romeo Akbar Walter etc. She is also known for her portrayal of Sati in the television show Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. She worked in many Television series such as Kasturi in the role of Shivani Sabbarwal, Do Saheliyaan in the role of Roop, All 3 seasons of Naagin in the role of Shivanya Ritik Singh and many more. In 2013, She starred as Meera in Junoon - Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq alongside popular actor Aditya Redij.
Mouni Roy was born and brought up in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India. She did her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Baburhat, Cooch Behar, West Bengal, and Miranda House, Delhi University, New Delhi further started her graduation in English Honours Course in Mass Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi but dropped midway. Her zodiac sign is Libra.
